    Profile:
Sue King is a semi-retired classroom and peripatetic music teacher, formerly Head of Music at Cranbrook Education Campus (part of the Ted Wragg MAT), who has had 30 years of teaching experience in all key stages, including 12 years working specifically with pupils with SEND. She has been a Mentor with Trinity College/Open University, and served on the Teachers Committee of the Musician’s Union. Sue currently serves on the Women’s National Organising Forum of the NEU (Teaching Union).

Sue currently combines her P/T peripatetic teaching- and occasional musical performances - with her preferred role, as a happy and active grandmother to two pupils at Widewell School.

She hopes that her educational and SEN experience will prove of value in her role as a new co-opted governor at Widewell Primary School , and she looks forward to helping to continue, and improve upon, the vision, the aims, and the excellent work that already happens there, for the benefit of every one of its pupils. Her particular interest is on the creative curriculum, and on forging links in the wider community.
